For all of you skipping leg day today, you've come to the right place. Our Matcha & Gin cocktail recipe is a delicious way to drink your greens... and your gin!

- 1 tbsp Aila Matcha Superfood Blend
- 1 oz. barrel-aged gin (we used Michigan-based Eastern Kille)
- 1/2 oz. water
- 1 oz. fresh lime juice
- Sparkling water
- Cucumber (optional)
Combine ice, gin, water and lime juice in a cocktail shaker. Shake. Add 1 tbsp Aila Matcha Superfood Blend and shake again, vigorously. Pour over ice and top off with sparkling water (start with a splash and add more, to taste). Garnish with cucumber slices for a crisp, fresh balance to Matcha's earthy flavors.
If you're unsure about the cucumber flavor, try this quick tip to give it a non-committal try: use a slice of cucumber to wet the rim of your glass and sip immediately. Like? Add four cucumber slices into your drink and enjoy!
